Snowed In for Christmas

So on Christmas Eve here in Oklahoma it started to rain, which turned to sleet, which eventually turned to snow. 8" of snow to be exact with a 35MPH wind that made going out for last minute gifts stink. As evening approached we made the call that we would put off getting together with my family simply because it was dangerous and being on a budget, we couldn't afford any unforeseen problems that had a greater chance of occurring in said weather.

So here we are, a couple of days after Christmas and we're still stuck at home.

This is the view out my back door.

This is my little man and big man who ventured outside to play today.

This is the fort they constructed.





This is my husband chasing our offspring who is visibly growing tired.

Here they are working on their snowman.

All done!!

My big man swears little man has eaten half the snow in our backyard already, so to demonstrate their point....

How could my heart NOT pitter patter over these two??
